Your vascular wellbeing depends on the good health of your veins so it's important to remember that vascular surgeons are the only doctors who are specially trained in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the veins. Our Physicians Are The Vein & Artery Experts

We have been the leading vein care specialists in the tri-county area for over 20 years. We've treated thousands of patients, most of them by referral from other patients and doctors. We specialize only in vein and artery therapy. Our doctors don't do gall bladders, hair transplants or wrinkle removal. Doctors from SVS have lectured and written textbook chapters on the treatment of varicose veins and vein problems. They have even pioneered some of the treatments and invented products for the treatment of vein disorders that have been used by millions of patients around the world.

Quality Treatment Begins With Quality Diagnosis

Modern vein treatment requires skilled ultrasound evaluation of the veins prior to — and often during — treatment. Our Vascular Diagnostic Center is one of the largest, most well-equipped varicose vein diagnostic centers in the United States, and is certified by the InterSocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL). All of our technologists are certified in the specialty of vascular ultrasound. Doctors and staff of SVS have written textbook chapters and lectured nationally and internationally in the field of vein disorder diagnosis.

A Medical Staff Without Equal

Our doctors are all board certified vascular surgeons and members of the prestigious Society for Vascular Surgery. The senior member of the practice is a distinguished Fellow of that Society, an honor given to just 250 practicing vascular surgeons. All of our doctors are also on staff at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and Doctors Hospital, and voluntarily summit their work to peer review. Our Physician Assistant, Mr. Ricardo Morales, has treated thousands of patients with spider veins over the past 10 years. He was also the Vice President of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
