

Mrs. Cline is a Board Certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, specializing in cardiovascular medicine. She has over twelve years experience, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1996 at the University of South Florida. She gained clinical experience in the coronary intensive care and outpatient cardiac management, while completing her Masters Degree in 2000 with honors. She is currently working on her doctorate degree at the University of South Florida with a special interest in genetics and coagulation disorders.
Mrs. Cline has extensive training in interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery. This training and experience has provided her a detailed knowledge base of both minimally invasive catheter techniques and open surgery. She has initiated Coumadin and lipid clinics and is well versed in preventative medicine. Mrs. Cline founded a journal club for Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants and remains active in clinical research.
Mrs. Cline joined Drs. Samson, Showalter and Lepore in February 2008. She is a Sarasota native. She is married and has 3 children.
