Mr. Morales received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Mercer University in 1981. He then moved back to Florida receiving another Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida in 1984. That year he received the Outstanding Clinical and Didactic Physician Assistant awards. Mr. Morales worked as the vascular PA for the world-renowned surgeon, Dr. Crayton Pruitt, in St. Petersburg for 12 years. He was the Assistant Director of the Vascular Institute of Florida in St. Petersburg. During this time he also became a Registered Vascular Technologist and served on the Clinical Faculty of the University of Florida PA program until 1996. In 1990, he received the Outstanding Clinical Instructor Award from that program.

After Dr. Pruitt retired, he joined the Bay Area Heart Center where he gained significant experience in cardiac disorders and heart attack prevention medicine. He joined Drs. Samson and Showalter in Sarasota in 1997. Mr. Morales has been active in the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and is now the Vice President of that organization.

Mr. Morales is experienced in all areas of vascular medicine and surgery. He has a wide experience in varicose vein and spider vein treatment and has treated over a thousand patients with these conditions. He is trained in injection and laser therapy for vein problems. He has a strong scientific interest in the prevention of diseases of the circulatory system such as atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries and lipid management).

Mr. Morales is married with 2 children and is fluent in Spanish.
